MTG Studio runs in your browser - there is nothing to install. Prefer a
desktop program? The Windows app is MTG Studio 3, the original edition
developed since 2003, free and still maintained.
Windows 11, 10, 8 and 7. The portable build needs no installation and
runs from a USB stick or a cloud drive. Not on Windows? Use the web app
- sign in and your decks are there.

At MTG Studio, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy
Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information
about you when you use our collection management and deck
building services.
Information We Collect: We collect
account information (name, email), usage data, and
content you create within the platform.
How We Use It: To provide and improve
our services, communicate with you, and ensure security.
Data Sharing: We do not sell your
personal data. We share it only with the sub-processors
that operate the product: Amazon Web Services (Lightsail
hosting and managed MySQL), AWS Cognito
(authentication), AWS SES (transactional email), and
Stripe (payments, when live) - all US-based. Card data
and images are fetched from Scryfall under Scryfall's
own terms.

Usage Analytics
MTG Studio uses its
own, first-party analytics -
not Google Analytics or any third-party
tracker. Everything is collected and stored on our own
servers. We never sell your data or share it with
advertisers, and we set no advertising cookies.
Your consent (opt-in): Analytics are
off until you choose to enable them. When
you first use the app we ask once, and you can change your
mind at any time using the control below. We also
automatically honour your browser's
Do Not Track and
Global Privacy Control signals as a decline.

What we collect (only while enabled):
An anonymous, random device id and a
session id. No name or email is attached - unless you
are signed in, in which case your username links your
own sessions together.
Which features and pages you use, and when
- e.g. searching, deck building, collection edits. We
record the feature name and counts only.
How long you actively use the app
(engagement time) and your session length.
Technical context: platform (web,
mobile app, or desktop app), browser, operating system,
device type, language, screen and window size, and time
zone.
Approximate location - country and city
- worked out on our server from your IP address. We use
the IP address only to look up the location and
then discard it; your IP address is never stored.
What we do NOT collect:
Your IP address (discarded immediately
after the country/city lookup).
The
names of your cards, decks, or collections, your search terms, or any free text you type.
Your precise location (no GPS), and we
perform
no device fingerprinting and no cross-site
tracking.
Why we collect it:
To understand
which features are used the most, over time, so we build the things that matter.
To measure engagement and
average session length and improve
performance and usability.
To prioritise the roadmap and diagnose problems. All
reporting is in aggregate - we look at
trends, not individuals.
Retention & your rights: Raw event data
is kept for about 90 days, after which
only anonymous aggregate totals remain. You can withdraw
consent at any time with the control above, and you may
request access to, or erasure of, data linked to your
account as described under
GDPR Compliance above.
Accessibility
MTG Studio is committed to making our application usable by
everyone, including people who rely on assistive
technologies. We aim to conform to the
Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2
Level AA
- the standard referenced by
Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation
Act and by the
European Accessibility Act (through
EN 301 549).
Measures we have taken:
Full keyboard operability, a visible focus indicator,
and a "Skip to content" link.
Dialogs exposed as labelled modal dialogs, with focus
moved in, trapped, and restored on close.
Text and interface colours meeting the AA contrast ratio
(4.5:1) in both light and dark themes.
Text alternatives for images, and accessible names for
all form controls and buttons.
Correct document language with right-to-left support,
across 34 languages.
Responsive layouts that reflow without loss of content
or functionality.
Conformance status: MTG Studio is
partially conformant with WCAG 2.2
Level AA: most success criteria are met, and we are
actively working to close the remaining gaps (including
